How to Refill Windshield Wiper Fluid

1. Buy a gallon of window wiper fluid at any general retail store, auto parts store, or gas station.
2. If the fluid is concentrated, mix it with water according to the instructions on the jug.
3. Raise the hood of your car.
4. Locate the window washer fluid reservoir under your hood. It is usually semi-clear plastic with a large cap. The cap usually has a windshield symbol on it.
5. Locate the fill line on the side of the reservoir.
6. Use a funnel to fill the container up to the fill line.
7. Replace the cap on the window wiper fluid container and close the hood.
8. Start your car and turn on your windshield wipers. Test the fluid by turning on the spray.
