  • What is the My Chevy Rewards program? – My Chevy Rewards is an owner loyalty program where you can earn points for the purchase of General Motors products and services. Simply signing up for Chevrolet connected services, purchasing a Chevy vehicle, or enrolling in OnStar rewards you with points. You can redeem those points on future GM purchases and services. 
  • Do I have to pay to enroll? – No, it is free to enroll in My Chevy Rewards. 
  • Do I have to own a GM vehicle to participate? – No, you do not have to own a GM vehicle to participate in the program. There are plenty of opportunities to earn and redeem points even if you own a vehicle from another manufacturer. 
  • When will I see my points in my account? – You may see your points posted in as little as a few minutes, but in some rare cases, it could take up to 15 days. 
  • Can I earn points from body shop work? – No, body shop work does not help you earn points. 
  • Who actually earns the points? Is it the person paying for the product or service, or is it the person registered to the vehicle? – My Chevy Rewards points are given to the person who pays for the vehicle service. They do not have to be the owner of the vehicle. It depends on whose name is listed on the receipt or repair order. To receive points, that name must match the name on the My Chevy Rewards account.
